As the official legal partner of Team England for the Commonwealth Games, international law firm Gowling WLG wanted to capture the dedication, focus, and drive of elite athletes preparing for the big stage. We traveled to the world-class training pool at the University of Bath to film double Olympic gold medalist Tom Dean in his element, creating content designed to showcase the shared values of precision, excellence, and preparation.

The shoot kept things streamlined and authentic, prioritizing genuine human connection and raw athletic grit. We captured an insightful piece-to-camera interview with Tom, letting him share his mindset, routine, and journey toward the Games in his own words.

To complement the narrative, we shot crisp, atmospheric B-roll around the facility, capturing Tom’s intense lap work, pool-deck preparation, and underwater motion. The final content delivered a polished, engaging look behind the scenes, seamlessly positioning Gowling WLG as a key partner powering Team England’s success.
